Local Commerce · Featured concept

Your restaurant. Your website. Complete ordering.

A simple experience for your customers, with powerful integrations working quietly behind the scenes.

01 Why it matters

Keep your restaurant at the center of the experience.

Third-party ordering platforms are convenient, but they put a marketplace between the restaurant and the customer. BWE is building a different model: a branded ordering experience around your business, so customers order from your own website, and you stay the business they’re doing business with.

  • ✓ Customers browse your menu and order on your site, not someone else’s app
  • ✓ Pickup orders go straight to your kitchen
  • ✓ Delivery can be arranged automatically behind the scenes
02 Customer journey

From hungry customer to completed order.

Six steps, one experience. The customer barely notices the handoffs — the restaurant barely notices anything changed.

1 · Your branded website

A modern, mobile-friendly site that looks and feels like your restaurant — menu, photos, story, hours, and ordering in one place.

2 · Customer places an order

Customers browse the menu, choose items and modifiers, add notes, and build a cart — designed for a phone first.

3 · Pickup or delivery

At checkout, the customer chooses. Pickup goes straight to the restaurant. Delivery collects an address for a delivery quote.

4 · Delivery quote

For eligible delivery orders, BWE requests pricing and timing automatically through the proposed DoorDash Drive integration.

5 · Secure payment

Stripe handles checkout — order total, tax, fees, and tip — in one customer-friendly flow.

6 · Make the order

The restaurant prepares it. Pickup customers collect it. Delivery orders are handed to a Dasher for the last mile.

03 · The staff experience

So what does your staff actually have to do?

A delivery order shouldn’t mean a complicated new workflow. Your team receives the order, prepares it, packages it, and has it ready. BrandtWorks handles the ordering experience, payment flow, and delivery coordination around it.

04 Behind the scenes

A lot happens behind one simple checkout.

To the customer, it feels like one website. Underneath, BrandtWorks coordinates the systems needed to move the order from checkout to completion — menu data, cart totals, taxes, payment, delivery quoting and fulfillment, notifications, and records.

05 Delivery Proposed integration

Delivery without turning your website into a marketplace.

BrandtWorks is developing a proposed integration with DoorDash Drive, DoorDash’s white-label delivery platform. The customer still orders directly from the restaurant. If they choose delivery, BrandtWorks can securely request fulfillment through DoorDash Drive — a Dasher picks up the prepared order and delivers it. Your website stays the customer-facing experience.

DoorDash Drive integration is currently proposed and in development, and is subject to DoorDash’s technical review, eligibility, terms, and production approval. BrandtWorks is not representing current production access or partnership status until that approval is granted.

06 Payments

One checkout for the customer.

Customers shouldn’t have to understand the systems behind an order. Stripe provides the secure payment layer inside the BrandtWorks ordering experience, so customers complete payment without jumping between unrelated systems.

07 The bigger picture

Built once. Adapted to each business.

This isn’t meant to be a one-off restaurant website. BrandtWorks is designing the underlying commerce infrastructure so it can be reused across multiple local businesses, while keeping each business’s storefront, menu, locations, and orders separate. Each storefront still feels like the business it belongs to — the shared technology stays underneath.

08 What’s next

Restaurants are the first chapter.

The larger vision is a reusable integration layer for local commerce. Restaurants make the model easy to see — website, products, checkout, payment, fulfillment, and customer communication — but the same approach can eventually support other kinds of local businesses. The question is always the same: what work can the website quietly take off the owner’s plate?
